So today is April Fool’s Day, otherwise known as “Let’s see how gullible people are and if we can make them cry” day. I’ve sat for a few days, trying to decide if, or when, would be appropriate to pull an epic prank and come to this realization that I just don’t have time to set it up the way I used to.
So instead, I have decided to follow my wife’s lead, and join in on National Poetry Month. The challenge for this month is write a poem a day, for 30 days. Enjoy.
Gray skies, bring the rain
In April, the month tries in vain
to hold it’s own, through natures pain
it will never be a sunny May.
